Huisartsenpraktijk Schoterpoort - M.M. Duijn, L. van der Eem, M. Louwet, W.H. Steketee

Complaints procedure

Fortunately, most patients are satisfied with their GP and our GP practice. However, you may be less satisfied or not satisfied at all with certain matters. Please try to discuss your complaint or dissatisfaction with your GP first and resolve the problem together with her (or him).

This also applies to complaints about a practice assistant, practice nurse, mental health practitioner, or practice organisation. Once the GP is aware of your concerns, a solution can often be found together.

The practice takes complaints seriously - first and foremost for you personally, but also because they can contribute to improving the quality of our practice.

Submitting a complaint

When you submit a complaint via ZIVVER the complaints coordinator will ensure it is processed within the practice. You will receive confirmation of receipt and be contacted about the most appropriate next steps - for example a conversation with the GP or staff member concerned.

External complaints handling

If you do not wish to proceed internally, or we cannot resolve the issue together, you can contact an independent complaints officer at DOkH (complaints and disputes department).

The practice is also affiliated with the DOkH disputes committee.

Complaints regulations

The procedure of our internal complaints handling is set out in a regulation so you know exactly where you stand.
